Destry Edwards grew up in the rural part of upstate South Carolina, surrounded by fields and horses. Developing a passion for filmmaking at an early age, Destry made several films in high school before studying the subject further in college.
After graduating from Bob Jones University in 2017 with a bachelor’s in Cinema Production and a minor in Political Science, Destry moved to Washington, DC to pursue a career where he could use his passion for filmmaking to make a positive impact in the political world. He seeks to use storytelling as a way to bridge the gap between people and policy.
