This film documents the redesign, fabrication and construction of a Catholic school chapel and its liturgical accoutrements in Sydney, Australia in 2007, revealing and explaining the creative process in conversation with the staff, students, architects, artists and craftspeople involved in this ambitious project of spiritual renewal.
Director – Tor Larsen
Tor graduated in Production Design at the Australian Film TV & Radio School in 1990. After working as an art director on short films, features and stop-motion animation TV commercials, he moved into visual effects, working a variety of US and Australian TV series and mini-series. In the 2000s Tor moved back to production, developing and producing a number of projects including a feature length independent romantic comedy. Working as a free-lance TVC producer in the following years, Tor also directed independent documentaries on Australian artists and crafts people. In 2015 he made an award winning short horror film. He is currently living and working in Sydney, focusing on documentary work.
